Where Others Face Limitations – We Have Solutions
Not
every DTP tool is compliant with all text directions and scripts. These
are samples of restrictions; for solutions please contact our engineers:
Quark Xpress
- does not support right-to-left text direction. In Quark Xpress
right-to-left text must be embedded in the EPS format or exported i.e.
to Adobe Indesign ME.
Corel Draw - does not support
right-to-left languages such as Arabic, Hebrew, Dari, Farsi, Urdu and
some more languages with unique scripts like Georgian, Amharic or
Tigrinya.
Corel Ventura - does not support right-to-left
languages such as Arabic, Hebrew, Dari, Farsi, Urdu and some more
languages with unique scripts like Georgian, Amharic or Tigrinya.
Adobe Indesign - in any non-ME version displays Arabic letters in a corrupted single-letter-mode, which is not readable.
iWork
– the word processing, spreadsheet and page layout software for Mac
does not support right-to-left text direction, but even with iWork our
engineers can find solutions to embed Arabic or other RTL language
texts.
FrameMaker - does not support right-to-left
languages such as Arabic, Hebrew, Dari, Farsi, Urdu and some more
languages with unique scripts like Georgian, Amharic or Tigrinya. Our
engineers convert the contents to RTL-script-friendly environments and
integrate final RTL layouts in an outlined form in FrameMaker files.
